A team from Long Heights Baptist Church in McKenzie, TN is currently partnering in service with Harvest Hills Baptist Church in Herkimer, NY. They will be participating on the trip July 11 - 19. (We've put a slideshow of images fresh from the team to the right. If you want to pause the show just put your mouse over the image.)
The team has safely traveled from northwest Tennessee all the way to central New York state. They arrived Saturday night and began ministry Sunday morning. Please remember to pray for this team as they undertake various ministries during the course of the week.
Some of the ways they will be serving include:
· Partnership and Encouragement
· Sharing songs and stories
· Light Construction and Repairs
· Community Outreach
· Concert in the Park
· Vacation Bible School
· Yard Cleanup and Maintenance
The schedule is packed full of opportunities to serve others. Here are some practical ways that you can participate in prayer for the team:
· Pray for strength and health for the team members
· Pray for unity among the team
· Pray for humble attitudes and servants hearts
· Pray for safety traveling back to TN beginning on Friday
· Most of all pray that God will work in hearts to accomplish what He wants
